On Reveries, the debut EP from Brooklyn-based J. Mordechai, the perversity of material desire becomes a metallic sound; twisted & pulsing. "I wanted to investigate the space between protest & pleasure" - an exploration made evident by the juxtaposition of distorted vocals and hypnotic grooves. While J. Mordechai may have quietly self-released Reveries his sound-world is anything but.
